Our Story

Fresh meat and fish has been sold at 258 Kentish Town Road for over 70 years now. Although the shop has changed hands over the years, the ambition and ethos today are the same as they have always been: to provide the best quality food to customers. 

Simply Fine Foods is here to serve the community with the finest of fish, seafood, meat ... and more! Our customers from around the Kentish Town, Highgate, Tufnell Park and Camden communities have come to know that when they shop with us, they shop safe in the knowledge that all their products are good quality – and will taste really flavoursome and fresh, too! – and that's why they keep on returning after all these years. 

Why organic, why free range?

Selling organic, free range meat is really important to us. When you buy organic and free range, you know that you're getting meat produced by farmers who respect their animals, who give their animals the space they need, and who only use natural fertilisers. You can rest assured that there's been no use of pesticides, no routine antibiotics, no GM ingredients and no artificial flavourings. Organic farming also uses less energy, so it's better for the planet!

Where is our fish and seafood from?

We believe in ethical and sustainable fishing, so most of our fish or seafood is either organically certified, or caught at sea by British fisherman. It's fresh, delicious, and so good for you!
